The best reasons I have to study English Grammar are related at last with an effective communication using a foreign language, but also with a correct teaching of these as a teacher of it. Those are:
ReplyDeleteI need to put on face my current English grammar strengthens and weaknesses in order to enhance my level and continue my own foreign language process learning during my life. It is not just a matter of this subject.
I think I can enhance my comprehension of all four principal skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. I consider if we apply a pertinent knowledge of grammar for each one of these skills, those ones are more enjoyable and fruitful. In fact a high knowledge and its comprehension is a base to required exams to achieve other goals at professional level.
On the other hand I hope to answer to different grammar questions in an appropriate way to my students and to do pertinent suggestions to contribute their own foreign language process learning. Sometimes teachers don’t take account that each one has a rhythm and teachers we must help them to develop in a correct way their potential.
In addition I wish to become a good and critical non-native speaker through the useful use of idiomatic expressions this set up a complete mean and a give a real sense to the communication. Grammar without a contextualised use doesn’t have a meaningful footprint for the learner
To sum up I study English Language because of I love it! To learn and to teach it! I want to enjoy my own process by myself and with my students through a hundred of fantastic books, songs, movies and a lot of cultural expressions which man has done using language, which ones are supported in its grammar. Without a serious study of English Grammar we cannot be real teachers

In the modern language career it is very important study the grammatical aspect. When we are learning a language ,our principal objective is to communicate some messages or being understand for someone but sometimes we can communicate in different ways. But it is really important that we used appropriately our language. If we do not use the correct grammatical aspects for example the wrong spelling .It can be ambiguous. Is not the same when you give account in the World Games (realized in Cali, Colombia) the medals it was written ‘’ Word Games’’ that was so fun for the people from other countries. Maybe when we see word games we think in a literature contest or of writers or something like that, but the true is that it is a sports competition. For that reason it is very important that we learn the structure in our language, and it is more important when we are learning en then teaching like futures teachers.
KAROKE Funny method for learn grammar.
For many educators the music is a good method for learn a language, it is funny for the students besides they can learn other aspects like a pronunciation.
One the other hand we have a very modern tool is the karaoke parties, is an activity for all ages’ learners.
Some people who do not take lessons for grammar are very good when they spell some words. Why? Due to the person is fun whit friends, the person is laugh and dance. It produce that the brain is relax and for it is more easy memorize the spell of words and the structure of the worlds. In a song we can find different tenses.
The people moreover study implicit grammars and win in the karaoke. It is an awesome notice for the education in our time the pedagogic have to take a new ways for do an interesting method to learn.

ReplyDeleteFor me, the main reason to study grammar to learn is that we have fewer possibilities to confuse the time to have a conversation in English, either with a partner or with a native foreign language, also keep in mind that grammar is important in a language, because following the rules can get to produce a written text or a speech with correct grammar and avoid misunderstandings.
How important is learning the grammar of a language?
For me learn a language means learning all the grammar, we have seen that many migrants come to learn a language without studying it, only do it out of necessity. However, some second-language teachers require their students to learn the grammatical rules through books, without regard to creating fun and practical methods to avoid fatigue and annoyance of his students for a language, many educators today have suggested methods for teaching and learning as: creating situations in which students must use the foreign language, make use of songs, movies, and television shows, look and learn interesting phrases of English culture, English invent games and exercises even virtual chat form groups of foreigners, to sum up the grammar plays an important role in a language and it is important to use it to enhance or improve their speech.

People must keep in mind that grammar is a useful tool, because it is a guide for a correct expression of ideas or feelings. Actually, in our condition of human beings, we need to communicate with other people. In addition, it is necessary to know the basic rules in a communication process in order to establish a successful relationship of cordiality and friendship to avoid misunderstandings. To study English gramar is, in many aspects, very importan, because everyone could know how to speak a language, but we, maybe, don't know how to explain it or teaching it; in other hand, with English grammar there will be not any doubt to find the best and correct form to say something. When I think in Grammar, I think in a good teacher, in someone that respect the language and take interest in the communication. Someone who know Grammar is able to teach the Second Language in the best way and have a good communication with anothers English speakers.
I think that, when I unknown the grammar, I do not speak in the best way and my skills are less, in the other hand, when I known about the grammar, I speak and write better and, for example, a native speaker can understand me when I speak with him\her.
Nowadays the grammar is very important because of the globalization that demand us a better control of a Second Language, in this case, the English. In addition, when Grammar is handled, the person can unwrap in a context and know really and truly a new culture.

The base of any language is the grammar and it is a powerfull reason why I am learning English grammar. Speaking as a student, I am studying English grammar because, I must to know the structure of the language that I am going to teach when I graduated, besides I must to have the comunicative competences for speak with my partners and teachers. As a teacher,I will have my classroom, my students and it is necesary to teach to them phonetics, spelling and of course grammar. ● when we are learning a new language, in this case English, is so hard to learn it in an explicit form. we usually don't get opportunities to talk with English speakers because of that we need a guide (grammar).
● Grammar is the study of the rules of the use of any language. if we do not know the grammar of any language, the communication will be harder. In addition, the grammar explains us the correct way to make sentences and the correct way to speak.
● On the other hand we can have a good vocabulary but if we do not how to use it, i mean, in the correct order it would be difficult to get a good communication and to achieve the goal.

ReplyDeleteI think that grammar is the most important aspect about any language learning. When you want to learn about any topic, you have to know the main structure in order to understand the rules. Grammar is very difficult for me because my maternal language has many different aspects according to English grammar.
Word's world is very beautiful because of their changes. The language is in a continuous evolution and it has many modifications thanks to the context. Nowadays, the technology helps to those changes and the grammar experts have to take account all this points.
As Future English teachers, we have to create new strategies for our student, because sometimes it is a boring topic. Students need to think about the importance of the good way of word and we have the responsibility to create awareness of the language rules.

Its important recognize that the function for this language isn’t similar that Spanish language, because their structure, conjugation, and modes to employ it are different. On the other hand the English grammar is essential to achieve activities that require a good knowledge as listening, speaking, and reading and understand it. I think that grammar led the student to develop exercises that helps to language learning. Hi everyone, I hope you are fine. I think one of the most important reasons to study the grammar of a language when you are learning it is because it is necessary to learn it "complete" with its rules, exceptions and forms, the grammar is what we suggest, shows and taught to write properly and this helps us to improve in other aspects (spelling, pronunciation, etc.) of learning a new language, a certain way to memorize all these issues is tedious and can become tiresome and boring for the learner but somehow way would be good to combine grammar with other activities to make teaching and learning fun. In the correct usage and grammar can achieve good communication because through this we interact in society.

No doubt, I think that English Grammar is necessary to learn in correct form this language. I study English grammar because I consider that it is a principal tool in the environment of the foreign languages; grammar is responsible to teach the correct spelling of the words and the correct order of the sentences; on the other hand, this tool can help me to improve many abilities like writing and speaking. To sum up, I study this subject because I want to handle that language as a native speaker; I want to achieve a good level of English and I know that English grammar can help me.

DeleteFirst, the first sentence is a little bit Spanish. "I think that English grammar is necessary to learn about this language correctly" is more appropiate. In the second line you can say "it is the principal tool, or you can say an important tool", but a principal is not correct. In that line you are using grammar like a person, the correct way is "grammar is about...". At the end of that idea, you have to put a colon, not a semicolon. In the fourth line you use the word "many" to talk about just two aspects, the most appropiate word can be some. At the final idea you use a semicolon again, but in that case the comma is the correct punctuation mark, and after "level of English" you need to use a comma again.

You know that you need bricks, sand, cement, water, paint, steel rods, glass, window frames, doors, etc., but, at the moment of building you have no idea where to start or what should go first. No matter what, you start building the new structure, but when you finish, your new construction has windows for doors, the roof is where the floor is suppose to be, and so on. Well, the same thing happens with grammar, we need to know all the english grammar rules in order to be able to achieve the best english level. In addition, as we are teachers in training, to have good grammar bases benefits our students in their own learning process. To sum up, grammar gives us the best tools to defend ourselves when traveling abroad, and also grammar is the most useful element that a teacher has to make a new language comprehensible for his students.

ReplyDeleteThere are lots of reasons to study English grammar, but I think that the most important is to be understandable in this idiom, and in the same form be able to express and interpret ideas in a clear form.
The grammar is essential for the learning and the teaching of a foreign language. Also is necessary recognize that we need orientations that tell you how perfect this language.
In addition the grammar is like a big rule because you have to follow explications step by step and practice over and over again.
The grammar can be taught in some different ways and like a future teacher I have to be able to find the appropriate form to teach the grammar in different contexts.
To sum up without grammar there is no a perfect learning of a foreign language.

Delete- Grammar is uncountable, then you can’t say “THE grammar” it sound as Spanish. The correct form is only GRAMMAR.
“Like” (como) is informal, you can use it when you are talking, but in a text is better using “as”.

ReplyDeleteI consider grammar is a main aspect to achieve to learn any language. When, we are learning any language, we need to go beyond; we must take into account everyone aspects to learn other language, such as: vocabulary, phonetics, grammar, etc…
Generally, some people leave aside the grammar; because of some people use to think that: the only thing important is to communicate (oral production), but, it doesn’t happen with all people.
In addition, English grammar influences, so that, we can survive in other culture. If we can't communicate, we won't survive. Maybe, it can happen by middle of other tools, such as body language.
To sum up, if we don't know grammar, everything we say may be taken by other way; then, the message you want to convey will be altered.

ReplyDeleteReally the job which I have always dreamed of, it has nothing to do with a desk, it has nothing to do with a salary, it has nothing to do with a schedule, maybe even not related to English. But I can ensure that my life is full of purpose and reasons why I would be a teacher.
In the last seven years of my life, I could understand the value of the study and living life with intensity, I could satisfy my adventurous spirit and I have enjoyed the most amazing people with thoughts so different from me that I have opened my eyes to observe carefully the reality of this world.
I do not want to be a critic of life, but if someone on the street ask me why do you want to be a teacher? I answere with sadness and grief ..... -To change the world, to teach anyone that they do not need to be anyone, because they are, to change the meaning of education, to teach them not to depend on a metal or paper, but an illusion, a dream and desire to live, to learn to appreciate nature, the life and the entire universe.
Definitely I wanted to be a teacher to change the world, to open the eyes of other people and thinks they have the great fortune of being alive, for in the infinite possibilities of the mystery of the universe, only fits one to be born. Among so many stars and planets, meanwhile universal space among many natural processes, we were fortunate to be positioned at a distance millimeter accurate, with single agents, so that the life we now know exists.
I do not want to be a teacher of languages, but I want to be a teacher of life, that is the reason my work does not dependent on a desk, as my office is the whole world, it does not depend on a schedule, because my time is the respite, not dependent on a salary, because for me, a stone or a metal not worth more than a meal.
